Vision
Within 12 months, we hope to provide more than 100,000 cancer patients with free access to high quality, uplifting, tailored, hilariously funny comedy specials through hospitals and outreach networks around this country and Canada. Comedy Fights Cancer aims to improve patient quality of life by bringing humor directly into hospitals with live stand-up comedy shows and bedside comedy visits, a comedy video series and an ongoing humor column. Plans for expansion to hospitals and patient care centers around the country, including Central Suffolk Hospital and North Shore University Hospital on Long Island, City of Hope Hospital in Los Angeles, Dana Farber Institute in Boston, MD Andersen in Houston, TX, to name a few.
